Transfer Students

Thanks for exploring Alma College! As a student looking at transferring to Alma College, your experiences from your previous institution(s) sets you apart from our traditional incoming students.  In recognition of all the time and effort you already invested in taking classes at other institutions, we strive to provide you with an individual plan for success at Alma. We take great care in evaluating your transcripts to maximize your previous credits and make them work towards your Alma College degree, and we are committed to assisting you reach your goals.

While the information on these Web pages will give you the basic information about transferring to Alma College, the only way to truly find out what Alma offers is to experience it for yourself. Please schedule an individual visit where you can meet with our admissions staff, a faculty member and a coach, if you are interested. We offer you lunch and a tour of campus with one of our current students as a guide so you can see for yourself why there is Only One Alma!

Alma College students report levels of educational experiences and faculty interaction that exceed the national norms by significant amounts, according to the findings of the 2007 National Survey of Student Engagement.
